Miguel and Daniella Zita are the passionate duo behind FS8 Western Lakes, a fitness studio located in western Florida. Since opening their doors just over a year ago, the Zitas have created a community-focused environment that stands out in the fitness landscape.
“Our studio, FS8 Western Lakes, has been open for a little over a year now, and we absolutely love it,” says Miguel. “It’s well-rounded, offering weights, which you don’t typically find at a regular Pilates studio. It also has cardio elements, strength training, coordination exercises, and all with low impact. It really caters to a broad range of fitness needs.”
The Zita’s emphasize the unique, homey feel of FS8. “What makes our FS8 unique is that it feels like home,” explains Daniella. “We know all our members—they’re like family. This closeness makes it easy to help individuals. With 15 beds available, we can really tailor the workouts to each person, which is really nice.”
For Miguel, one of the best parts of running FS8 is the increased family time it affords. “Now, I have more time with my kids. I can spend more time with Daniella, and it gives us more independence,” he shares. “It’s really nice to work together and build towards a future together.”
Investing in FS8 has also brought significant positive experiences for the Zita’s. “From the moment we started construction to now, the support from FS8 HQ has been really good,” Miguel notes. “We were the first studio to open here in the US, and they were very responsive, helping us through the process, guiding us, and giving suggestions. They set up support if we ever needed it for opening.”
Daniella adds that the experience of investing in FS8 has been incredibly fulfilling. “For someone who has never tried FS8 and is considering investing, it’s hard to encapsulate in words how good it is. Be ready to jump in because it’s a very nice journey that you’re going to have with FS8.”
