What used to be considered a male-dominated space is now a gender-inclusive and forward-thinking industry. Women in fitness are POWERFUL. They are influencing countless industries every day, and especially through the health and fitness movement.
More women are taking up exercises that challenge the stereotypes about a women’s physical strength and blurring the lines on what used to be seen as ‘male-led’. Women around the world are crushing it in the fitness game. They are personal trainers, nutritionists, gym/studio owners and consumers. They are training clients one-on-one and impacting members in group training.
This year’s International Women’s Day (IWD) theme is focused on ‘breaking the bias’ and shows global attention on the state of women when it comes to gender equality, bias, stereotypes and discrimination. Each year’s IWD theme relates to modern trends and struggles. The goal is to make the world more diverse, equitable and inclusive– ‘Imagine a gender equal world’.
We have so many strong and confident women in our F45 network. We recognise their strength and see them pushing the limits every day. We them you leading their businesses and bringing boutique fitness to their communities. We see them helping people change their lives and giving people a better-quality life.
Our female studio owners are hardworking, dedicated and fierce. They have walked the path of a franchise owner and continue to influence members through every 45-minute session. We have created a community of franchise owners that encourage each other, through both hardships and the good times. For our women franchise owners, they have an even tighter and close-knit relationship with each other, creating a community of inclusivity and encouragement.
